Carbide Grade Selection

Grade HB-110

A Submicron Grade Carbide

Designed as a versatile solution for a variety of cutting tool applications.

Classified as a submicron grain carbide, Grade HB-110 offers superior wear properties coupled with the toughness to handle slight shock. This makes it an excellent general-purpose grade for semi-finishing and finishing applications. Its balance of hardness and resilience makes it a suitable choice for machining alloyed and non-alloyed steels, cast iron, titanium alloys and non-ferrous metals.

Benefits

Wide Range of Machining Applications

  • Grade HB-110 stands out for its exceptional ability to process a wide range of materials.

Exceptional Wear Resistance

  • The micrograin structure ensures tools maintain sharp edges and durability, especially in high-wear applications.

Reliable Shock Absorption

  • The material composition of HB-110 tolerates slight shock, ensuring consistent performance even under demanding conditions.
